Wendy's daughter, Leslie is a past National Teen Leader. She contracted meningococcal meningitis at the age of 8.
She is 22 today and is a premed student. However due to her meningitis Leslie had to have a kidney transplant, has scars over 80% of her body and suffers chronic anemia. Leslie works with Angels in awareness and advocacy. |
Theresa Menard, Chief Financial Officer
Theresa is a CPA and business owner in . She is married to Randy and the mother of 5 girls, one of which is Heaven Bound Angel, Jane. She is a grand mother. Theresa is an active fund raisier for Angels. Theresa speaks at local schools about the prevention of meningitis and advocated for mandates in her home state of Louisiana. Her hobbies are her grand children and her new race horse.

Theresa's daughter, Jane died at age 22 from meningococcal meningitis. She was told, "You don't live in a dorm. You don't need to be vaccianted. She listened and she died.

Lois Reiszner, Vice President
Lois is a charter member of Angels and a retired banker. She is a widow and the mother of Pat and Terry. Lois is from Colorado and lives in Texas. Her hobbies are her 4 dogs, 3 donkeys and two birds.
Mike Smith, Vice President
Mike is a charter member of Angels. Mike is a Texas boy, He is a Farmers Agent and entrepreneur. He is married to Diane and the father of Jared and Tara. Mike is very active in his community. His hobbies are his motorcycle, hunting and fishing.
Margaret Moorehead, Secretary
Margaret is a retired reading specialist. She is a mother and grand mother. Margaret is very active in her community and loves to serve for good causes. Margaret is from Illinois and resides in Texas.
Joi Schrette
Joi is married to Steve. She is the mother to an only child, Heaven Bound Angel Rachael who died at the age of 5 from meningococcal meningitis. She founded A Gift For Rachel Foundation in memory of her precious daughter. She supports the Angel Wings Projects with funds raised through that foundation. Joi resides in California.
Linda Anderson
Linda is the medical editor for MSNBC. She is married to Mike and the mother to Heaven Bound Angel Phoenix and a beautiful little boy name Gabriel. Linda is a great friend and is counted on by many. Linda resides in Washington.

Jennifer Schatte
Jennifer Schatte is the newest member of our Board. She has served as a Florida State Team lLeader for 5 years. She is married to Chad and has two beautiful little boys, Riley and Ryder. Jennifer has been a supporter of Angels for years. She has led fundraising activities and advocacy in Florida along with Florida Angel Team Leder Abby Wold and Angel mom to Max Sapp Missy Kalish and Angel Team Leader Lori Todd mom to Angel Weeble.
Jennifer's favorite hobbies are photography, swimming and her very favorite thing is to hang out with her family.
